There in the corner she stood - Lady Eleanor, sipping from a glass of wine, talking to her friend. She looked so beautiful in the gown that had almost the same color as the wine. As if she had felt his look, she turned around and the pearl earring in her ear moved, the stone in the middle catching the light of the candles ...

The upper part of these earrings is crocheted with fine silver wire and pearls, in the middle sit faceted labradorite onions. Long brushed silver drops dangle down.
I was inspired by an episode of "Blackadder", set in the times of Queen Elizabeth I.

The earrings are available in my shop:

Just cool. Is there any way you would make these with other stones? Earrings like this would go just perfectly with my Tudor style gown!

If I can find the stones, sure :) I'd have to check if I still have something like the silver drops, too. What stones did you think of?
Can I see a picture of the gown? It sounds interesting!

I´m totally into garnet and pearls right now, and I´d go with a gold or pearl drop. I´ll see whether I can find some picture of my Tudor gown to upload here, so you`ll get an idea of it.
