I made this dragonfly for a swap with a friend who loves them ... it's a surprise and I hope she'll like it.

The grass and the body of the dragonfly are crocheted from copper wire with a wire running through to make it posable.
The wings of the dragonfly are done in a kind of netting with seed beads.
The base is polymer clay.

Depending on how you bend the blade of grass the dragonfly is sitting on, this piece is about 3.5 inch or 9 cm high.

I will be. I'm having a "tired of feeling sick, kind of lonely, whiny, tired, where's the world heading" moment or two. Mostly that stomach bug isn't doing much for my good spirits right now, it's really starting to annoy me.
