The left window is mostly for the gerbils who were our very first pets.
The right window shows our very first cat, White Dude, the foreign exchange kitty who came from the USA to Germany with us.
The middle one shows (going up)
- Merlin, my beloved boy
- Gandalf, our shy master of fluffiness
- Greebo, the cow cat (now more like Merlin in stature)
- Meffi, my tiny tiger girl
Feature - Window Dressing - Part(2)

... watch this space ...
It's hard to believe that only two of those in the window are still with me. I would love to have another window done with my two black devils and the crazy bunny!
Hey there! Did you finally get to take a pic of this from the outside, with the lights on?
I would love love love to see that!
I took that picture a few years ago.
Your sister is right, that's exactly why we wanted it that way. Of course it's a great effect to have it all colorful, but for a room you use everyday it would be a little distracting. I always wanted to take a picture from outside when the lights are on. It looks fabulous.
hahaha ... now if you ever moved, these windows have to move with you and get incorporated into your new home!
We had always always love stained glass, ever since we saw them decades ago when we toured the old churches of Europe. When we wanted to make them, and found out the work and skill it entails, we gave up and opted for the faked ones instead. Of course, faked ones lack the clarity and beauty of real ones ... even so, we loved our faked panels and moved them with us into our new place 14 years ago ... those tens of hours we laboured over them were worth every second! ^^
I just showed these window panes to my sis, and she says " L-O-V-E-L-Y!!!" ... and that she likes that there's still a lot of 'clear' glass to allow light to come through.
Did you just take this pic? ^^ Thanks for uploading this to dA and sharing it ... we just love love stained glass ... and when it comes with animals, hey, what can be better, eh?
