Bead loomed animal print cuffs by CatsWire Bead loomed animal print cuffs by CatsWire
I made these cuffs for the tombola at our small local zoo's anniversary fest.
There are two leopard prints, two snake skins and the pale and the funky giraffe. They are bead loomed with Miyuki 11 seed beads.
The patterns were all made by me.

adore the patterns but especially amazing seeing them all together like this :) I am so bad at looming. i cant seem to get that warping method quite right :S do you know a good site/book/tut that teaches the warping? looming is easy. finishing a bit elusive to me LOL

Thank you, also for the fave! :D
There are others I'd like to try, but I don't know if it'll ever happen - a black panther for example. You know how you can still see the pattern in the light? I'm tempted to try and re-create that with different shades of black using matte and opaque beads, a dark brown. Just for the heck of it :lmao:

I started making a pattern, maybe I'll do a few rows to see how the colors work together!

I'll see what the best colors I can come up with are, but I think the matter might be a good choice to avoid the shine

Digging the funky giraffe! It's the neglected animal print!

Thank you, also for the fave! I totally agree with you. The closer you look at a giraffe, the more interesting the pattern becomes.
